About Anna
ANNA MORGAN MA FISTD ARAD
Anna is a teacher, choreographer, adjudicator and researcher whose work spans performance, education and advocacy. Her choreography has been presented internationally, with recent projects in the USA, France, Puerto Rico and at Sadler’s Wells, London. She has taught and lectured at leading institutions including the Royal Ballet School, Rambert School and Performers College, and spent ten years on the ballet faculty at Bird College.
Anna received an MA with Distinction from Rambert School (University of Kent), where her research examined gender equity in ballet leadership and training. She now presents this work internationally through lectures, digital media and professional development seminars, including at IADMS (Las Vegas, 2025), Northern School of Contemporary Dance and One Dance UK.
Anna directs her own teacher training programme, Anna Morgan Dance, is an adjudicator for the British and International Federation of Festivals and All England Dance, and sits on the Advisory Board of the TIRED Movement.
Anna remains deeply committed to elevating the culture of dance, both in educational settings and across the professional industry. Her work advocates for dancers to pursue excellence within a more compassionate, inclusive and progressive dance culture.

Teacher Training
ISTD Diploma in Dance Education
The Diploma in Dance Education (DDE) is the ISTD's entry level qualification, allowing learners to become fully qualified dance teachers and enter students into ISTD examinations worldwide.
Anna Morgan Dance offers a flexible, part-time course with a blended delivery; predominantly online learning supported by studio contact hours. The course is uniquely positioned to offer outstanding, individualised tuition alongside access to a comprehensive online learning platform for further support and revision.

Adjudication & Lecturing
Anna is an accredited adjudicator with BIFF (British and International Federation of Festivals) and All England Dance. She has adjudicated festivals and competitions throughout the UK and internationally.

Dance Research
Anna received an MA in Dance Research (Distinction) from Rambert School, where she specialised in the gender pay and power gap in ballet leadership.

Choreography
Anna's choreography has been seen internationally, including original work for Bailar Al Sol in the USA and choreographic residencies at Moulin Belle in France and Andanza in Puerto Rico. Most recently she co-choreographed the critically acclaimed Black Beauty for United We Dance International at Sadler's Wells.
